SERVING SIZE:
2 – 4 people
INGREDIENTS:
- 6 tbsp Yeo’s Satay sauce
- 1 lemon (zest only)
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1 tbsp Yeo’s Pure Sesame Oil
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- 400g beef fillet (thinly sliced)
- 1 pack skewers (soaked in water for an hour)
- 1 cos lettuce (quartered)
- 1 red onion (sliced)
- 1 cucumber (sliced)
METHOD:
- Combine Yeo’s Satay Sauce, lemon zest, turmeric, cumin, salt, sugar, oil and sesame oil. Add beef and marinade for at least 1 hour.
- Thread beef strips onto skewers and grill over charcoal or on a hot skillet until just done.
- Serve with steamed rice, salad and a bowl of warm Yeo’s Satay Sauce.
