SERVING SIZE:

2 – 4 people

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 tbsp Yeo’s Satay sauce
  • 1 lemon (zest only)
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 1 tbsp Yeo’s Pure Sesame Oil
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 400g beef fillet (thinly sliced)
  • 1 pack skewers (soaked in water for an hour)
  • 1 cos lettuce (quartered)
  • 1 red onion (sliced)
  • 1 cucumber (sliced)

METHOD:

  • Combine Yeo’s Satay Sauce, lemon zest, turmeric, cumin, salt, sugar, oil and sesame oil. Add beef and marinade for at least 1 hour.
  • Thread beef strips onto skewers and grill over charcoal or on a hot skillet until just done.
  • Serve with steamed rice, salad and a bowl of warm Yeo’s Satay Sauce.
